Business News: Louis Vuitton Reportedly Confirms That Their Supreme Collaboration Is Cancelled

Earlier this year, it was announced that Louis Vuitton and Supreme were set to collaborate on a collection of dually branded clothes, accessories, shoes and more, all of which debuted as part of LV’s Fall-Winter 2017 show in Paris. According to HYPEBEAST the much-anticipated joint-effort has been nixed.

A sales representative for Louis Vuitton has confirmed that their collaboration with Supreme will no longer be happening in their pop-up shops, as well as with any online retailers. The initial drop in SoHo was supposed to happen on July 14th and all other pop-up’s have been nixed going forward.

A lot of this supposedly has to do with Supreme’s reputation, having had their desired location rejected in May and how the brand itself couldn’t “articulate how this product launch will benefit the community in any way.”
