Young Thug started the year off by earning his first No. 1 record on Billboard’s Hot 100, his “Havana” collaboration with pop star Camila Cabello. Aside from leaked records, not much was heard from Thugger after that, until the Atlanta rapper announced he isn’t dropping any new records in 2018. “I got a deaf brother. So, I want to act deaf for a year, I ain’t going to put out no music this year. 2019, I’mma probably drop Hi-Tunes,” said Young Thug in an interview with Hypebeast.
A surprising move, Young Thug now releases a three-track EP titled Hear No Evil. Out now on iTunes, the project features guest appearances by Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Uzi Vert and 21 Savage. Southside, DJ Spinz, Rex Kudo and Charlie Handsome contribute on the production side.
As a child, I've always loved music. From different genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B and Pop. Music allows you to be creative and express yourself the way that you please to. I've sought music to be a place where you can be YOU. You can dance, cry, laugh and do all kinds of crazy things to music. That is what makes me so passionate about what I do! My ultimate goal is to build a mainstream media platform that represents and supports culture such as paintings, music, film and provide empowering media coverage to my viewers.
